Would you like to write a guest post for Creativity’s Workshop?

If the answer is yes, then please read on.

General Guidelines

While I’m happy to consider posts on a case-by-case basis, I would appreciate it if you could follow these guidelines as closely as possible.

Posts need to have a direct link to creativity

Posts should preferably have some connection with writing although I’m happy to consider alternatives as long as the theme has to do with creativity.

I’m especially interested in posts about your creative process and your Creativity’s personality.

Linked sites also need to have a direct link to creativity and/or writing

I will not accept guest posts that will be linking through to websites not related to creativity and/or writing. If your site or blog is on a different subject, I will have to politely decline.

No more than 1,000 words

600 – 800 words is usually the ideal.

Images are welcome

Here are some specific guidelines for images:

• Images should ideally be landscape (wider than they are high).
• Images should be 480 pixels across (but I can crop or resize the image if you aren’t able to).
• I prefer professional looking photographs, with lighter colours.

If you aren’t able to provide an image, I can add one myself.

Formatted for ease of reading

Preferably formatted with headings, bolded phrases and bulleted lists where appropriate. This breaks the information up and makes it easier to read. However, if you are not confident doing this yourself, I can help.

Submitting

If you’d like to submit a guest post, please e-mail me (jessicaATcreativitysworkshopDOTcom) with the concept/idea of your post or the completed post text. I’m happy to discuss and collaborate with you.

When submitting your completed post, you will need the following:

• The text of your post.
• An image.
• A blurb about yourself (can include a link to your site/blog).
• A small photo of yourself (optional).

Please note: I may edit your post for ease of reading or to fit in with the theme of my blog. I will confirm changes with you. However, if you do not feel comfortable with this arrangement then please do not send your work through to me.
