We all have days when our heart is just not in our writing. Sometimes it’s because our Creativity needs some fresh input. You might enjoy my older post on The Creativity Sponge.

It’s still good to try writing on those days to keep up the routine. You may find you can break through the malaise and find the fun in it. If not, go out for a walk or change up your routine to keep your life creatively interesting. There’s always tomorrow.

I totally love this piece. As a role player / writer, some days I just don’t feel it. The rest of the group might want to go off on a story arc, or play a certain piece, but my heart just isn’t there, and sometimes I feel like I am bashing the keys with a mallet. <3

Always happy to help. Outlining and writing go hand in hand. The trick is to know when to just sit down in front of the page and pour out words until something clicks. Remember, you can always delete words later on once you’ve found your nugget.
